KeenImages is a new free service that allows you to sell your digital images on the royalty-free basis.

Photo buyers in need of creative art, editorial, or stock images can buy the royalty-free license for commercial or editorial use of any photo, and the contributor who submitted the photo collects the license fee from the sale. In comparison to many other stock photography agencies that pay you pennies if your images sell, KeenImages values your talent and efforts much higher - we pay 50% commissions on all sales, and we employ traditional pricing model for all images.

To get started, you will need to register and submit several samples of your work. If your account gets approved, you will be able to contribute images to the site. Please note that in order to maintain quality and marketability of all images, every newly added image is screened in accordance to our submission rules. We strongly suggest carefully reviewing these rules before you begin the registration process - it will save you and us a lot of time in the future.

What does the term "Royalty-Free" mean?

Royalty-free pricing simply means that the price of the photo is based on its artistic and technical qualities, not the specific use. Buyer does not have to pay any additional fees on any subsequent usage of the photo and can use the photo for any projects. By selling a royalty-free photo, a photographer permits a buyer unlimited use of the photo, including any photo alterations such as, but not limited to cropping, color alterations, etc. Photographer always remains a copyright owner of the photo and can sell the same photo countless number of times to new customers.
